WEBER, Associated Press Writer DEVERS, Texas - A bus rolled onto its side Wednesday while trying to avoid cargo that had fallen from a tractor-trailer, killing two members of a high school soccer team, authorities said.More than 20 others were injured when the bus toppled over and swerved into a ditch on Highway 90, about three miles east of Devers, authorities said. The crash occurred as the bus driver was trying to steer around plastic foam insulation that had spilled from a tractor-trailer, the Texas Department of Public Safety said. The team from West Brook High School in Beaumont was traveling to a playoff game. Ashley Brown and Alicia Bonura died at the scene. Of the 23 others on board, 21 were taken to two area hospitals for treatment. Injuries ranged from "very serious to cuts and bruises," said EMT coordinator Cathy Jones. Two of the injured girls were trapped in the vehicle and had to be pried from the wreckage, Trooper Richard Vasser said. Devers is about 60 miles northeast of Houston. Courtesy Of: Yahoo!
